Fraser Jackson is a Director at BlackRock and Global Head of Corporate Actions, with responsibility for the firm’s end to end management of corporate actions across client portfolios. He leads a global team overseeing the interpretation, election, and execution of corporate action events, ensuring the integrity of client assets, and enabling timely, informed investment decisions. His remit spans complex and time sensitive market events, where accurate execution and coordination across portfolio management, custodians, and counterparties is critical to client outcomes. Fraser is focused on strengthening the control environment and scaling the platform through technology, driving enhancements to Aladdin and associated corporate action capabilities to improve transparency, reduce operational risk, and increase efficiency. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2008, Fraser held roles in asset servicing at Deutsche Bank, State Street custody, and FNZ. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in History from the University of Edinburgh and is CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) qualified.
